X-Yachts have had a promising 2007, together with their highest number of orders to date and the launch of their brand new Xc cruising range, ensuring a bright future.
Xc 45 The all New Xc Cruising Range
At our production development facility, work is fully underway; the 5-axis milling machine is busy making plugs for the hull, deck, inner liners, keel and rudder for the Xc 45.
Since January, X-Yachts have been extensively refining the Xc concept. The release of the first preliminary Xc sales drawings and the 2007 edition of the X-Yachting magazine were both met with very positive feedback, proving the new Xc line to be a proud member of the X-Yachts family and consequently boast the typical three X-Yachts waterlines, thus in dark grey.
The first Xc 45 will be launched in late spring 2008, and will then undergo intensive testing before the planned series production begins.
Xc 42 The New Generation Continues
The Xc 42 will follow the same conceptual ideas as the Xc 45. The idea is to offer a cruising yacht with more focus on long distance "bluewater" cruising. The Xc 42 will debut at the Paris Boat Show, December 2008.
The specification and conception mirrors X-Yachts determination to make high quality oriented yachts. The needs of a cruising family are the foremost prerequisites, but the designers have worked hard not to compromise on performance, creating a fine balance.
A classic "thought through" deck layout
· | The styling of both hull and deck of the new Xc 42 are in the same line as the Xc 45. A Classic styling, incorporating the use of the best and most proven build techniques. |
· | Teak laid decks are standard on the side decks, coachroof, in the cockpit, and on the bathing platform. |
· | Newly developed recessed flush deck hatches. |
· | Deck integrated track for the self tacking working jib. |
Safety and comfort first The design intention is to create safety combined with function, yet sustaining timeless aesthetics. With deeper hull sections than those of a normal "performance cruiser", there is added volume for large tanks, which also gives the Xc 42 a smoother motion in all weathers.
X-65 New Performance Cruiser
The launch of the first X-65 is set for April 2009, with another four sister ships planned for launch the same year, and the first two already sold. The 65 is the result of combining the conceptual ideas behind the X-55 and the IMX 70. The clean, uncluttered deck layout mirrors X-Yachts philosophy: simplicity and functionality, with a modern yet classic styling.
The design criteria
· | To create a big sister to the successful X-55, which won the title: "European Yacht of the Year 2007". |

The deck layout as standard is designed to offer everything you need
· | Teak laid side deck, coach roof and cockpit. |
· | Flush mounted deck hatches and fully recessed spray hood. |
· | Electrically/hydraulic operated transom port. |
