Yard Worker required:

We are looking for a hard working, self motivated, energetic person to work with a small team in Hamble Point Marina. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00 with some weekend work during busy periods.

Sailing experience / knowledge of boats preferable.

Jobs include:

- Teak cleaning

- GRP restoration

- GRP polishing

- General cleaning work

Training will be given. Start ASAP. Salary based on experience.

Yacht Regatta Support / Customer Service candidate required
 
X-Yachts GB are seeking to expand their South Coast Office and employ a suitable person to manage racing campaigns on various demonstration boats, whilst also promoting the X-Yachts brand at regattas within the UK (and sometimes further afield in Ireland or Europe).
 
The role will involve but not be limited to:
 
  • Responsible for all logistics for demo boat at regatta(s).
  • Fully ‘race prepare’ demo boats and produce tuning guides.
  • Attendance at all major UK regattas.
  • Racing with X-Yacht owners and assist with crew training / IRC optimisation / rig tuning.
  • Attendance at boat shows.
 
A suitable candidate should have a proven track record on the race course and knowledge of the Solent.
