Welcome to the X-Yachts Benelux Cup 2010

Following feedback from our owners and participants at previous Belgium Cups and the Gold Cup in Holland, we have decided to make a joint venue for 2010. The Race area will be on the Oosterschelde, near Wemeldinge, Holland.

We look forward to extending a warm welcome to our owners, their crew and families at the host venue for the 2010 Benelux Cup.
This event promises some great sailing days, along with shore side entertainment and catering.

Notice of Race

ORGANISERS
X-Yachts Belgium and X-Yachts Holland.

RACE COMMITTEE
Stijn Reunis, Jan Persoons and Jan Peeters.

LOCATION
Wemeldinge, Holland.

RACE AREA
The race will be sailed on the Oosterschelde, near Wemeldinge, Holland. Seachart of the racing area: Dutch chart: Oosterschelde.

BERTHING
Will be provided in Jachthaven Wemeldinge.

MAXIMUM PARTICIPANTS
Max 25 Belgian yachts and max 25 Dutch yachts, max 450 sailors. Entries will be confirmed after payment on the website.

RATING / HANDICAP
The X-Yachts rating will apply. An X-Yachts rating will be given to each participating yacht based on the yacht’s dimensions and specifications (rig, keel, ballast, sails etc).

CLASSES
Racing will be divided into both Family and Sport classes, thereby giving all X-Yachts owners the opportunity to compete at the level they choose.

· Family Class: Only one headsail allowed
  (no spinnakers, gennakers or code zero’s).

· Racing Class: Full sail wardrobe allowed.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The Saling Instructions will be available at the Regatta Office after registration.

NOTICE OF RACE and PAYMENT
The final Notice of Race and Payment details will be published on www.x-yachts.be and www.x-yachts.nl

ENTRY FEE
€150 per yacht until 30 April 2010.
Late entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis, at €200 per yacht.

LAST ENTRY AND PAYMENT DATE
30 April, 2010.

SOCIAL BOOKING
Upon receipt of entry form, you will receive the social booking information by e-mail.
